HOW IT WORKS
Stop riding the same loop. Find better stops.
1️⃣ Open the map or browse the list
2️⃣ Pick a destination
3️⃣ Kickstands up
Backroad Bars Guide helps you find better stops — without overthinking it.
If you use the site more than once, save it to your phone’s home screen. It works like an app and keeps it one tap away when you’re on the road.
Start with the Map.
Pick a direction and see what’s out there.
Zoom in, tap a stop, and open it in Google Maps when you’re ready to roll.
It’s less about planning the perfect route and more about finding somewhere new along the way.
When you want to narrow it down, hit the Bars page.
They’re organized by region so you can look through real stops riders have already checked out.
Some are marked as Backroads Picks — those are places worth going a little out of your way for.
Others are just solid stops when you need a drink, a reset, or a reason to keep riding. Every place is added because someone rode there, stopped there, and thought it was worth sharing.
Know a bar we should be riding to?
Go to ‘Submit a Stop’ and send it in.
If we can ride there, it counts.
If it’s worth pulling over for, we’ll add it.
This guide is built from real miles and real riders. Not hype.
A portion of Backroad Bars proceeds is donated annually to Honor Flight, supporting veterans who served our country.
No hype. No dead ends.
Just better roads and better stops.
